Our Barberton facility houses our corporate offices, R&D laboratory and 165,000 square feet of manufacturing space. With a focus on flexibility and diversity, Barberton produces over 300 solvent and water based liquid and powder formulas and 600 SKUs.
Barberton’s twenty-two liquid blending tanks range in size from 100 to 5,000 gallons. Each mix tank is configured with unique heating, cooling, or mixing capability to allow blending a wide range of products. Our blending systems are supported by seventeen bulk storage tanks that allow us to purchase chemicals economically. We also offer several grades of purified water including ozonated RO for micro susceptible products. Ten packing lines are equipped with rotary overflow, rotary net weight, rotary piston, and in-line fillers. Container labeling capabilities include pressure sensitive front and back, full wrap, neck, spot and sleeve labels. Every line has primary container code dating and shipper printing or labeling capabilities. We can fill anything from two ounce bottles to full tanker-truck loads.
Our Akron facility is dedicated to high volume liquid blending and filling. It is also home to our micro lab. From this 80,000 square foot facility we produce a variety of household cleaning products, drain cleaners, and laundry care products on four fully automated filling lines. A sanitary pail filling line is also available for institutional size packaging. This facility is especially experienced in handling high strength bleach, peroxide and micro susceptible products. Mixing in Akron is done in six high volume mix tanks supported by three tank farms containing 24 bulk storage tanks including flammables, high strength bleach and peroxide.
Our 57,000 square foot Alliance facility is dedicated to powder blending. Three highly automated lines produce rug and room deodorizers and powdered cleansers packed in plastic bottles and composite cans. A fourth line packages a food grade product in a plastic bottle with a tamper evident sealed closure and full wrap film label. Other capabilities include nonwoven multilayer pads that are sonically welded and flow wrapped, composite can manufacturing, and wool buffing pad manufacturing. The powder manufacturing lines are supported by 90 cu. ft. paddle and ribbon blenders and six bulk storage silos with a combined capacity of over 1,000,000 pounds.
