Founded in 1953 by 25-year-old chemist, Murray Glauberman, as a manufacturer of Janitorial and Industrial Specialty Chemicals (professional automotive and janitorial cleaning products). Murray’s father, Abe, joined Malco shortly after and brother, Lionel, in 1960, and together the family embarked on a series of expansions that would take the company from a small single-plant operation to a global multi-plant manufacturing company.

Murray + Abe + Lionel = MALCO

Malco is named after our founder, Murray Glauberman, his father, Abe Glauberman, and brother, Lionel Glauberman. What started as a family business continues to be true to this day. Today, Malco is a fourth-generation family business, led by Seth Glauberman and Lauren Osina, Murray’s grandchildren.
